Myoglobinuria is the presence of myoglobin in the urine, which usually results from rhabdomyolysis or muscle injury. Myoglobin is present in muscle cells as a reserve of oxygen. Signs and symptoms of myoglobinuria are usually nonspecific and needs some clinical prudence.
