She is the sister of sculptors Anderson, Ennica, Taguma, Tendai Mukomberanwa and Lawrence Mukomberanwa, and the cousin of Nesbert Mukomberanwa.
From her early childhood on, she was exposed to the art of stone sculpting due to her famous father, Nicholas.
