This lecture covers the concept of differential, the first theorem on differentiable functions, and the gradient of a differentiable function being orthogonal to the tangent hyperplane at a given point on the function's level surface. It also explores the equation of a tangent plane to the surface of the graph of a differentiable function of two real variables.
