Closed-Loop Deep Brain Stimulation for Mental Disorders

This lecture discusses the challenges in treating mental disorders with a focus on brain circuit dysfunctions. Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is explored as a circuit-directed approach, presenting mixed results in mental illness treatment.
