Description

This lecture introduces the fundamentals of geometry modeling and meshing for numerical flow simulation. It covers topics such as the finite volume method, structured and unstructured meshes, mesh quality metrics, mesh adaption, and different meshing algorithms. The importance of a good mesh, guidelines for mesh generation, and tutorials on geometry modeling with Space Claim and meshing with Fluent and Workbench Meshing are also discussed.
