Electromagnetism: Fundamentals and Applications
This lecture introduces the outline of the PHYS-201(2) course for fall 2021, covering topics such as electrostatics, magnetostatics, electromagnetic waves, fluid mechanics, and more. Students will learn to integrate, manipulate equations, apply concepts to practical problems, and analyze consequences of electromagnetic phenomena. The course includes flipped classroom sessions, exercise classes, and homework assignments to reinforce learning. Transversal skills like methodology, communication, and critical thinking are emphasized to address challenges. Various tools like slides, Q&A sessions, problem-solving exercises, and Moodle platform are used to enhance knowledge acquisition.
