This lecture introduces Material Flow Cost Accounting (MFCA) as a tool to link monetary and material flows, apply cost accounting standards, and understand the environmental and financial consequences of resource use practices. Topics include MFCA methodology, cost allocation, and its applications in industry and social sciences. The lecture also covers examples from the steel industry and exercises to reinforce learning.
