This lecture covers the endocrine regulation of the female reproductive cycle, including the phases of the ovarian and uterine cycles, the role of hormones like GnRH, LH, FSH, estrogen, and progesterone, as well as the development of ovarian follicles and the process of fertilization. It also discusses the formation and function of the corpus luteum, the action of LH on ovarian function, and the 2-cell-hypothesis of estrogen synthesis.
