This lecture demonstrates the functions of Matlab for visualizing response surface functions. It covers building the model as the product of coefficients and model coordinates, defining the domain and number of points per interval, computing model values on a grid, setting up the central composite design, and analyzing residuals. The lecture also includes the setup of the reference model, simulation of measurements, computation of coefficients using a least square fit algorithm, and comparison with the original coefficients.
