This lecture revisits the instructions for the hydrological modeling exercise of the MAEVOSORG basin using RSMINER software. It covers the description of the study basin, available data, and the tasks to be performed. The exercise involves dimensioning retention structures to manage a 100-year rainfall event, simulating generated hydrographs, and analyzing the impact of retention structures. The model includes retention reservoirs in series for the SORG and MAEVRE streams, with the goal of verifying and proposing solutions to ensure maximum flow rates are respected. The dataset provided includes meteorological and hydrological data for model development and calibration, with precipitation series generated for the 100-year rainfall event. The upcoming video will detail the steps for developing the hydrological model, calibrating it, and incorporating protection structures for the studied basin.
