The lecture also discusses the various types of components, including mechanical and electrical components, according to ECSS-Q-ST-60C Rev.2 and ECSS-Q-ST-60-13C. Furthermore, it explores the force generation mechanisms of motors and actuators, such as electromagnetic, brushed, reluctance, and brushless motors, as well as other actuator principles like paraffin, shape memory alloys, and piezo-electric actuators.
