The drawbacks of CSMA, such as overhead and fairness issues, are discussed. Additionally, the simplicity and inefficiency of Aloha are highlighted, along with its use in RFID technology. The impact of bursty traffic on CSMA's performance and the trick of MAC aggregation to reduce overhead are also explained.
