This lecture covers the equations of solar cells, including carrier concentration in pn junctions, simple models for finite cells, macroscopic modeling of crystalline Si cells, and the influence of shunt and series resistance. It also discusses the 2 diode model, parameters in the model, examples of dark IV-curves, and software for dark/light I-V curve analyses.
