This lecture explores the dynamics of a hollow cylinder containing granules rolling down an inclined plane. The critical angle for rolling is determined, and the behavior of the system is investigated through theory and experiments with various granules. The lecture also covers the oscillation frequency of the system and the dissipation of energy based on the volume fraction and mass fraction of the cylinder system.
