Electric Racing Vehicle Development

This lecture presents the EPFL Racing Team, a group of 80 students working on developing an electric racing vehicle and autonomous vehicle. Starting in September, the team designs and manufactures the car, with plans to integrate driverless technology, collaborate with the IC faculty, increase the number of projects, and improve the vehicle's design. The project emphasizes learning by doing, applying theoretical knowledge, developing soft skills, and promoting sustainability through a new department focused on reducing the car's carbon footprint and educating future engineers.
