Non-thermal Generation of Skyrmions

This lecture covers the non-thermal generation of Skyrmions using UV and IR single shot pumping, analyzing the dynamics and competition between helical and Skyrmionic phases. The speaker presents results on the efficiency of different wavelengths in creating Skyrmions and the relaxation mechanisms. Future work includes exploring the erasing process and understanding the photo-creation mechanisms of Skyrmions. The presentation concludes with a discussion on the rotation of the Skyrmion lattice and the potential control of relaxation mechanisms.
