Intermetallics: Silicides, MAX-Phases, Aluminides

This lecture covers the formation and properties of transition metal silicides, including their electron conductivity and passivation ability. It also discusses MAX-Phases, which combine metallic and ceramic properties, and transition metal aluminides, focusing on their structural applications and solid solubility.
