It also delves into the ARMv8 ISA details, mobile device security, AOSP, and the challenges of Android fragmentation. The lecture explores the long life of security bugs, bug reporting and fixing, customization perils, Project Treble, security researchers' roles, and Android app basics. It also discusses the Android permission system, APK disassembly, kernel security with SELinux, and the importance of defense in depth.
