This lecture covers the operation of MOS transistors in saturation, discussing topics such as I/V characteristics, pinch-off behavior, transconductance, and different regions of operation. The instructor explains the behavior of electrons approaching the pinch-off point, the square-law behavior in saturation, and the transconductance as a function of drain-source voltage. Various regimes of operation for PMOS transistors are also explored.
