The genus Analleucosma Antoine, 1989 is known from northeastern and southeastern Democratic Republic of Congo and a few localities in East Africa; it currently comprises three similar species, all very scarce in collections. Here I describe a new species, Analleucosma ginae sp. nov. which was collected at two different localities in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa. In spite of significant collecting in Côte d’Ivoire over the last 50 years, the new species is not represented in the major public or private entomological collections that I have surveyed through the years. The discovery of Analleucosma ginae sp. nov. greatly extends the distribution of the genus in sub-Saharan Africa.
