General serviceThe Mass Spectrometry and Elementary Analysis Platform at EPFL offers a wide range of services including mass spectrometry, elemental analysis, sample preparation, and open-access instrument training. They provide high-quality analyses for small organic molecules, large biomolecules, and metals using various ionization techniques and mass analyzers. The platform is equipped with advanced technologies such as Orbitrap mass analyzers, MALDI-TOF, GC-MS, and ICP-MS for multielement quantitation. Users can access the facility through instrument training, open access, sample submission, or collaboration. Additionally, they offer educational opportunities through PhD courses within the Doctoral School of EPFL.
