The Laboratory of Bio- and Nano-Instrumentation (LBNI) at EPFL is a research lab specializing in the intersection of instrumentation, microfabrication, and nanoscale biology. Their expertise lies in scanning probe microscopy, focusing on high-speed atomic force microscopy and the combination of different microscopy techniques. LBNI's research delves into understanding biology at various spatial and temporal scales using AFM and other scanning probe techniques. They actively engage in open hardware workshops to share their research outputs with the scientific community.
