The Laboratory of Astrophysics (LASTRO) at EPFL is dedicated to advanced research and high-quality education in the field of astrophysics. With expertise in Dark Energy & Dark Matter, Cosmological Parameters, and Galaxy Formation & Evolution, LASTRO conducts observations of extragalactic objects, models the cosmos, and tests astrophysical theories. The research team plays a leading role in international projects such as the Square Kilometre Array Observatory and the development of supercomputing infrastructure for processing astronomical data efficiently. LASTRO's mission is to contribute to the understanding of the Universe through cutting-edge research and education programs.
