CenterThe Scientific Information and Applied Support (SCITAS) Center at EPFL provides scientific computing resources and high-performance computing expertise to the EPFL community. SCITAS offers compute clusters and services beyond traditional HPC, catering to various research fields like computational chemistry, material science, fluid mechanics, engineering, machine learning, bioinformatics, life sciences, and data sciences. With a focus on user collaboration, SCITAS ensures resources consolidation, high bandwidth network, petabyte-scale filesystems, CPU-GPU nodes, containers, source repository, and professional HPC software development. SCITAS also engages in teaching HPC and scientific computing, maintaining recognized expertise and contributing to EPFL's influence.
