Zero Emission Group (ZEG) is an EPFL student association founded in 2019 with a vision of a society thriving within planetary boundaries. Their mission focuses on fighting global warming, biodiversity loss, and pollution through systemic change, sobriety, and innovation. ZEG provides a platform for students to engage in sustainable projects, emphasizing hands-on experiences and raising awareness about sustainability issues. The association supports projects in various domains such as Life Cycle Assessment, Sustainable Finance, EcoLens, Energy & Resources Forum, Plast-it-Back, and Research on Energy Optimization. ZEG values a global approach to sustainability and has become a student association of UNIL, welcoming students from social and natural sciences equally.
