LisburnLisburn (ˈlɪzbɜːrn,_ˈlɪsbɜːrn; ˌl̠jɪsɣ n̪ɣə ˈɟaːɾɣwəx) is a city in Northern Ireland. It is southwest of Belfast city centre, on the River Lagan, which forms the boundary between County Antrim and County Down. First laid out in the 17th century by English and Welsh settlers, with the arrival of French Huguenots in the 18th century, the town developed as a global centre of the linen industry. In 2002, as part of Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee celebrations, the predominantly unionist borough was granted city status alongside the largely nationalist town of Newry.
CruthinThe Cruthin (ˈkɾɣʊθjɪn̠j; Cruithnig or Cruithni; Cruithne ˈkɾɣɪ(h)njə) were a people of early medieval Ireland. Their heartland was in Ulster and included parts of the present-day counties of Antrim, Down and Londonderry. They are also said to have lived in parts of Leinster and Connacht. Their name is the Irish equivalent of *Pritanī, the reconstructed native name of the Celtic Britons, and Cruthin was sometimes used to refer to the Picts, but there is a debate among scholars as to the relationship of the Cruthin with the Britons and Picts.

The town began as a coaching stop on the road from Belfast to Dublin and thrived from Irish linen manufacturing. The town was home to the headquarters of the former Banbridge District Council.

The longest and most important tale is the epic Táin Bó Cúailnge (Cattle Raid of Cooley).
Slieve DonardSlieve Donard (ˌsliːv_ˈdɒnərd ; ) is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland and the wider province of Ulster, with a height of . The highest of the Mourne Mountains, it is near the town of Newcastle on the eastern coast of County Down, overlooking the Irish Sea. It is also the highest mountain in the northern half of Ireland, and 7th highest on the island. The Mourne Wall – built in the early 20th century – runs up the western and southern slopes of the mountain, joining a small stone tower at the summit.

It is the seventh largest urban area in Ireland, with a population of 43,112 as of the 2022 census.
