Kvam

Kvam is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The municipality is located along the Hardangerfjorden in the traditional district of Hardanger. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Norheimsund. Other larger settlements in the municipality include Øystese, Bru, Ålvik, Tørvikbygd, Omastranda, and Mundheim. Historically, the municipality was named Vikør. The municipality is the 188th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Kvam is the 126th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 8,497.

Austevoll

Austevoll is a municipality and an archipelago in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Midthordland in Western Norway. The administrative centre is the village of Storebø on the island of Huftarøy. Other villages include Årland, Austevollshella, Bakkasund, Bekkjarvik, Birkeland, Haukanes, Husavik, Kolbeinsvik, Otterå, Våge, and Vinnes. The municipality consists of hundreds of islands located southwest of the city of Bergen.

Osterøy

Osterøy is an island municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Nordhordland. The municipality encompasses most of the island of Osterøy. The administrative centre of Osterøy is the village of Lonevåg in the central part of the island. The largest settlement is the village of Valestrandfossen with 1,219 inhabitants as of 1 January 2016. Osterøy municipality and Vaksdal Municipality are both located on the island of Osterøy.

Radøy

Radøy is a former municipality in the Nordhordland district of the old Hordaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1964 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was merged into the new municipality of Alver in Vestland county. The municipality included almost all of the island of Radøy plus many small surrounding islands. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Manger. Other villages in the municipality included Askeland, Austmarka, Bøvågen, Haugland, Sæbø, and Sletta.

Vossevangen

Vossevangen or Voss is the administrative centre of Voss municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village lies on the northeastern shore of the lake Vangsvatnet in the central part of the municipality, about east of the city of Bergen. The villages of Borstrondi and Kvitheim are both small suburbs located just north of Vossevangen. The village has a population (2019) of 6,745 and a population density of . The European route E16 highway and the Bergensbanen railway line both run through the village.

Arna (municipality)

Arna is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1964 until 1972. It encompassed the northeastern part of the Bergen Peninsula, along the Sørfjorden, bordering the city of Bergen across the mountains to the west. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Indre Arna. The municipality stretched from the village of Ytre Arna to Trengereid along the coast and then inland about to the Espeland area.

Åsane (municipality)

Åsane is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county in Norway. The municipality existed from 1904 until 1972. The municipality encompassed the northern part of the Bergen Peninsula, roughly corresponding to the present-day borough of Åsane in the city-municipality of Bergen. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Eidsvåg. The main church for the municipality was Åsane Church. Historically, the area was called Aasene, but with spelling reforms in the Norwegian language, the modern spelling has been Åsane since about 1920.

Turøy

Turøyna or Turøy is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies just west of the islands of Toftøyna and Misje. Prior to 1964, the island was part of the old municipality of Herdla. Then from 1964 until 2020 it was part of Fjell municipality. About one hundred people live on the island. The island has a road connection to the mainland via the Turøy Bridge which connects to Toftøyna. The road then continues over a series of bridges connecting a string of islands to each other and to the city of Bergen.

Kinsarvik (municipality)

Kinsarvik is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Kinsarvik where Kinsarvik Church is located. The municipality of Kinsarvik existed two different times: from 1838 until 1869 and then again from 1913 until 1964. The municipality centered on the inner part of the Hardangerfjorden, and (originally) surrounded all of the Sørfjorden. The original Kinsarvik encompassed all of the present day municipalities of Ullensvang (except for Røldal) and a small part of Voss.

Bruvik (municipality)

Bruvik is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1870 until its dissolution in 1964. At the time of its dissolution, the municipality covered on both sides of the Veafjorden, the innermost part of the Sørfjorden, including the southeastern part of the island of Osterøy. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Bruvik where Bruvik Church is located. The parish of Haus was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law).
