However, Bacillota as a whole is generally believed to be monophyletic, or paraphyletic with the exclusion of Mollicutes. Bacteria
Bacteria (bækˈtɪəriə; : bacterium) are ubiquitous, mostly free-living organisms often consisting of one biological cell. They constitute a large domain of prokaryotic microorganisms.
