On the Consolation of PhilosophyOn the Consolation of Philosophy (De consolatione philosophiae), often titled as The Consolation of Philosophy or simply the Consolation, is a philosophical work by the Roman philosopher Boethius. Written in 523 while he was imprisoned by the Ostrogothic King Theodoric, it is often described as the last great Western work of the Classical Period. Boethius' Consolation heavily influenced the philosophy of late antiquity, as well as Medieval and early Renaissance Christianity.

Under this definition, the dialects or varieties of a particular language are closely related and, despite their differences, are most often largely mutually intelligible, especially if geographically close to one another in a dialect continuum.

Valencian languageValencian (valencià) or Valencian language (llengua valenciana) is the official, historical and traditional name used in the Valencian Community of Spain, and unofficially in the El Carche comarca in Murcia, to refer to the Romance language also known as Catalan. The Valencian Community's 1982 Statute of Autonomy and the Spanish Constitution officially recognise Valencian as the regional language. As a glottonym, it is used to refer to either the language as a whole or its Valencia-specific linguistic forms.
