Ingenbohl (High Alemannic: Ingäbohl) is a municipality in Schwyz District in the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland. Ingenbohl is first mentioned in 1387 as uff Ingenbol. Ingenbohl has an area, , of . Of this area, 31% is used for agricultural purposes, while 49.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 16.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (3.8%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains). Ingenbohl is located along the Lake of Lucerne.

Lake Lucerne

NOTOC Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee, literally "Lake of the four forested settlements" (in English usually translated as forest cantons), lac des Quatre-Cantons, lago dei Quattro Cantoni) is a lake in central Switzerland and the fourth largest in the country. The lake has a complicated shape, with several sharp bends and four arms. It starts in the south–north bound Reuss Valley between steep cliffs above the Urnersee from Flüelen towards Brunnen to the north before it makes a sharp bend to the west where it continues into the Gersauer Becken.

Lucerne (luːˈsɜrn , lysɛʁn; High Alemannic: Lozärn) or Luzern (luˈtsɛrn) is a city in central Switzerland, in the German-speaking portion of the country. Lucerne is the capital of the canton of Lucerne and part of the district of the same name. With a population of approximately 82,000 people, Lucerne is the most populous city in Central Switzerland, and a nexus of economics, transportation, culture, and media in the region. The city's urban area consists of 19 municipalities and towns with an overall population of about 220,000 people.
