NurmijärviNurmijärvi (ˈnurmiˌjærʋi) is the most populated rural municipality of Finland, located north of the capital Helsinki. The neighboring municipalities of Nurmijärvi are Espoo, Vantaa, Tuusula, Hyvinkää and Vihti, and it is part of the Greater Helsinki. The population of the municipality is inhabitants. In recent decades, it has been one of the fastest growing municipalities in the Greater Helsinki and also in whole Finland in terms of population. The close proximity to Helsinki has led to a considerable growth of the major villages such as Klaukkala, Rajamäki and Röykkä.

Otaniemi is located on the southern shore of the Laajalahti bay, next to the district of Tapiola near the border to Helsinki. It is part of the Greater Tapiola major district. Otaniemi and Tapiola are separated by the Ring I beltway. The Aalto University metro station, located in Otaniemi, was taken into use in 2017. Otaniemi is the home of Aalto University's campus, thus "Otaniemi" is often used as a synonym for Aalto.
SiuntioSiuntio (ˈsiu̯ntio; Sjundeå) is a municipality of Finland located in the Uusimaa region in the province of Southern Finland. Its neighboring municipalities are Ingå to the west, Kirkkonummi, to the east, Lohja to the north-west, and Vihti to the north. It is west of Helsinki. As of 2021, the population was with a population density of . The municipality covers an area of , of which is water. The municipality is bilingual. The majority of the population are Finnish-speakers with a minority of Swedish-speakers, though a majority spoke Swedish until the 1980s.
