Vufflens-le-Château is a municipality in the Swiss canton of Vaud, located in the district of Morges. Vufflens-le-Château has an area, , of . Of this area, or 69.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while or 13.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, or 18.7% is settled (buildings or roads). Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 15.9% and transportation infrastructure made up 2.3%. Out of the forested land, 9.8% of the total land area is heavily forested and 3.3% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. Of the agricultural land, 47.2% is used for growing crops and 3.7% is pastures, while 18.7% is used for orchards or vine crops. The municipality was part of the Morges District until it was dissolved on 31 August 2006, and Vufflens-le-Château became part of the new district of Morges.
