Prévondavaux (Provondavâlx pʁɛvɔ̃daˈvo) is a municipality in the district of Broye in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Prévondavaux is first mentioned in 1403 as Profunda vallis. The municipality was formerly known by its German name Tiefental, however, that name is no longer used. Prévondavaux has an area, , of .
