Ponthaux (pɔ̃to; Pontèt pɔ̃ˈtɑ) is a municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Ponthaux is first mentioned in 1142 as Pontet. Ponthaux, , has an area of .
