Magicplan

magicplan is a mobile application developed by Sensopia Inc., a Canadian company, that allows users to create floor plans by using the camera of a smartphone or tablet and augmented reality (AR) technology. The app facilitates the measurement and creation of floor plans by producing 2D and 3D models of indoor spaces. magicplan is available for iOS and Android devices and has been used by professionals in various industries, such as architecture, real estate, and home improvement. magicplan was founded and developed in 2011 by Sensopia inc in Montreal, Canada. In 2016 Sensopia merged with B&O, a German company conglomerate in the housing sector. Since then, magicplan holds offices in Montreal and Munich. The first version of magicplan was launched in 2011 for iOS devices, and the Android version followed in 2013. The app gained widespread recognition and was included in Apple's 2017 Best Apps of the Year list. magicplan combines AR technology, through Apple's ARKit with artificial intelligence (AI).
