Tornado Alley is a loosely defined location of the central United States and Canada where tornadoes are most frequent. No place on earth is entirely free of tornadoes, however, they occur much more frequently in the United States, particularly in the Central states, between the Rocky Mountains to the west and Appalachian Mountains to the east.
