Eagle Vale is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Eagle Vale is located 56 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Campbelltown and is part of the Macarthur region. It is bordered by the suburbs of Eschol Park, Kearns, Raby, Blairmount, Woodbine, St Andrews and Claymore. History Following European settlement, many new settlements were established to the south west of Sydney, to cater for the growing agricultural demands of the growing colony. The land surrounding these settlements were subsequently divided up and given away as land grants to settlers in order to establish farms. One such grant, worth, was that given to Thomas Clarkson on the western hills of Campbelltown, at the base of what is now called the 'Scenic Hills'.
