Deutsche Welle
Deutsche Welle (ˈdɔʏtʃə ˈvɛlə; "German Wave"), commonly shortened to DW (deːˈveː), is a German public, state-owned international broadcaster funded by the German federal tax budget. The service is available in 32 languages. DW's satellite television service consists of channels in English, German, Spanish, Persian and Arabic. The work of DW is regulated by the Deutsche Welle Act, meaning that content is intended to be independent of government influence. DW is a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
National Democratic Party of Germany
The Homeland (Die Heimat), commonly known by its official name until 2023, the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD; Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands), is a far-right Neo-Nazi and ultranationalist political party in Germany. The party was founded in 1964 as successor to the German Reich Party (Deutsche Reichspartei, DRP). Party statements also self-identify the party as Germany's "only significant patriotic force".
Reichsstatthalter
The Reichsstatthalter (ˈʁaɪçsˌʃtathaltɐ, Reich lieutenant) was a title used in the German Empire and later in Nazi Germany. The office of Statthalter des Reiches (otherwise known as Reichsstatthalter) was instituted in 1879 by the German Empire for the areas of Alsace (Elsaß) and Lorraine (Lothringen) that France had ceded to Germany following the Franco-Prussian War. It was a form of governorship intended to exist while Alsace-Lorraine became a federal state of the Empire.
