Description
This lecture covers the definitions and properties of a sphere, including its metric and geometric definitions, the generation of the sphere by rotating a circle, projections and apparent contours of the sphere. The contour apparent is the locus of points of contact of vertical tangent planes to the sphere, parallel to the projection direction.
