Lecture
This lecture covers the solution of linear homogeneous recurrence relations of arbitrary degree using characteristic equations with distinct roots, as well as the concept of generating functions to solve recurrence relations. The instructor demonstrates how to find closed formulas for sequences and transform fractions of polynomials to obtain generating functions.
