What is digital signal processing

Description

This lecture covers the concept of time, the practicality of discrete time, the sampling theorem, digital storage, transmission of signals overseas, transmission of analog and quantized signals, and digital data throughputs. It also introduces key ideas of digital signal processing, such as the discretization of time and values, general-purpose storage and processing, and noise control.
