This lecture covers the design of Bio-CMOS circuits for DNA detection, focusing on Charge-Based Capacitance Measurement (CBCM) circuits and Analog Integrators as filters. It also discusses a circuit front-end for label-free DNA detection, including a capacitance-to-frequency converter. The instructor presents problems related to evaluating the range of detectable capacitance, designing an RC OpAmp-based integrator, and analyzing the Randles circuit of the bio/CMOS interface. The lecture concludes with a discussion on the relative error in computing the switching frequency of a comparator.
