Sustainability and resilience of urban systems: The city as a socio-technical system

This lecture explores the sustainability and resilience of urban systems, focusing on the city as a socio-technical system. It covers key elements such as the capacity to survive shocks, integrating social, economic, and environmental dimensions sustainably, and the city resilience framework. Examples from Mexico City and post-Hurricane Sandy NYC projects are discussed.
