This lecture covers the production, distribution, transportation, and usage of heat, historical choices in energy production, adaptation, introduction of new solutions, combining private and public knowledge, customers' increasing awareness and ability to choose, smart technologies, producers, price, change in paradigm with the Internet of Things, citizens becoming energy producers, and resilience for cities facing challenges of growing urbanization and climate change.
