EPFL Spacecraft Team: CubeSat CHES Pathfinder 1 Mission

This lecture presents the EPFL Spacecraft Team, a student association working on the CubeSat CHES Pathfinder 1 mission. They are responsible for developing the satellite platform hosting scientific payloads to measure the exosphere's chemical composition. The team faces challenges in knowledge transfer due to high member turnover, but they address this through proper documentation, leadership roles, and the CANSAT project for student formation. They are currently ending the design phase and preparing for the CHESPA-3D1 mission in January 2024, focusing on developing subsystems and testing new elements for communication with Earth.
