Building Envelope and Energy Production

This lecture covers the choice of functional unit and scenarios for building envelopes made with conventional materials and low voltage AC current, as well as the additional function of energy production. It also delves into the understanding of SIMAPRO software, electricity production, inventory creation, and system structure. The presentation includes topics like system lifespan, inventory modification, thermal energy, waste impact, and material recycling. Students will learn about building envelope fixing, electrical connections, inventory creation and modification, and the analysis of scenarios with and without Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV).
