This lecture discusses the importance of haptic feedback for increasing awareness of our environment and as a protective mechanism, presenting the development of a new type of tactile actuator that is flexible, adaptable, and compact. It explores its integration into a soft and portable exoskeleton to recreate the sensation of flying, including experiments to assess the precision of the tactile feedback.
