Social Studies of Science and Technology

This lecture introduces various approaches to understanding complex relationships between science, technology, and society, aiming to empower students to navigate and take action in such contexts. Students will investigate scientific and technical topics of their choice within the field of engineering, exploring interdependencies, controversies, uncertainties, and unpredictable developments. The course adopts a flipped classroom model, providing audiovisual materials for self-study and using class time for discussions, questions, and guidance on student investigations.
