This lecture presents the 'Eggdrop Challenge' project, where a group of students developed the Pro-Tag-Shan solution to safely drop an egg from a building. Starting from the initial intuition that a pre-compressed egg will not break, the team used engineering tools learned at EPFL to design a structure that could withstand stress. Through testing and innovation, they simplified the solution to create an effective final prototype.
