This lecture provides a warm-up for EPFL students, focusing on key concepts in mathematics and physics. Topics covered include analysis, linear algebra, mathematical tools, physics applications, history, methodology, differential and integral calculus, vector calculus, and differential equations. The lecture offers thematic videos, downloadable slides, thematic exercise series, detailed corrections, and discussions. The course aims to revise important mathematical and physical notions, provide fundamental first-year training, and reference first-year teachers. Students will engage in practical exercises, including solving differential equations and graphical representations of physical phenomena.
